QBIC III Systems provides Gallaudet University mobile Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) solution utilizing two-way paging from Arch Wireless.

Gaithersburg, MD, June 24, 2003 - QBIC III Systems, Inc., a leading provider of facility asset management solutions, announced today that it has enhanced its mobile solution, QBICMobile® by integrating Arch Wireless two-way paging technology into Gallaudet University's existing CMMS solution, QBICFlex®.

Utilizing QBICMobile, Gallaudet's CMMS administrator’s e-mail corrective and preventive work orders through Arch Wireless network to their maintenance technicians on campus. Gallaudet technicians view work order details, post labor and material and complete work orders using Motorola P935 pagers.

According to Joe Hatfield, Gallaudet's Manager of Facilities Operations, "The QBICMobile and Arch Wireless solution has improved productivity by providing real-time work order distribution; my trade people are happy because we're eliminating paper work and data entry steps; and my budget is extremely happy because we're using existing pagers and avoided outfitting our entire staff with more expensive PDAs."

QBIC offers its mobile maintenance management solution as an optional module to its core client server CMMS solution, QBICFlex. Additionally, QBIC has created two new product offerings designed specifically for Arch Wireless clients - A slimmed down client server corrective work order system as well as a hosted offering providing customers rapid implementation and access via secure, scalable infrastructure, requiring minimal upfront investment.
